Alone in Berlin, by Hans Fallada

Didn't make any notes at the time, and two years later can't remember too much detail. Based on real-life events, a couple who've lost their son on the Russian front distribute anti-government leaflets in Berlin in WW2 and are eventually captured by the (not very secret) police.

Pretty good read, although felt a bit of a slog.
