Cell, by Stephen King

Good old library had this in, it's his most-recent-but-one book, and so still only available in hardback from the shops. A bit like a scaled down "The Stand", with a plague of some sort affecting everyone who uses mobile phones and turning them into zombies. A few non-phone users band together and try and work out what to do.

Read it in a couple of days, and it did the job, but I'd say it was a minor work, more like "Misery" than "The Stand" or "It", and as such probably not worth reading again (compared with the other King books that are on offer).
