Grief Encounters, by Stuart Pawson

A couple of seemingly unconnected events: a woman found murdered; an MP hangs himself, and a police detective is forced to resign. DI Charlie Priest ends up looking into all of these.

This is subtitled 'A "DI Priest" novel', so there are more of them. It mostly reminded me of the Frost novels, and is no worse for that - an enjoyable read.

The central plot has a bunch of rich guys meddling in the lives of strangers and so felt very similar to the storyline of Killer Move, which I'd only read a month or so ago.

I'd read more "DI Priest novels".
