Inside Out - A Personal History of Pink Floyd, by Nick Mason

Like the title says, an autobiography that focuses on what happened with the band.

Interesting to read, and quite readable. Mason seems like quite a nice guy, although the writing style felt a little strained to me - he relies a bit on understatement and irony for humour, and doesn't use a short word where a he can think of a longer alternative - e.g. they don't stay in places, they "sojourn" there.

I don't think I learned anything surprising; maybe I'd have been more agog if I'd have read it around the time that The Wall and The Final Cut were coming out, but the stuff about the feud between Waters and the rest of them, interesting though it is, doesn't feel that important any more.

Worth reading though.
