Another one recommended on A Good Read. About (or mainly about) a woman in hospital recovering from an operation and remembering stuff, and dealing with her family.

Can't remember it much - I think it reminded me a bit of Anne Tyler. What I did note was that the writing style was extremely simple, although it still seemed rich. I didn't note down any examples though!
