Follows The Man with the Getaway Face. In this one, Parker determines to get the Outfit off his back: he gets in touch with people he's worked with in the past and encourages them to take out any operations they know of which are run by the Outfit. Faced with a sudden flurry of attacks on its businesses from all over the country, Parker hopes they'll be willing to negotiate a deal where they'll leave him alone if he calls off his friends.

Another great book. Good idea for a story, convincingly and grippingly told. Four or five of the attacks on Outfit operations were described in detail, and all of these were fun to read. And Parker sustains his reputation for ruthless efficiency. I'll have to read more. Recommended.
