The White Queen, by Philippa Gregory

This one's about Elizabeth Woodville, who was married to King Edward IV in the 1400s.

The main thing I remember about this one was that it was quite confusing - a lot of power shifts were going on during Woodville's life and so I had trouble keeping track of whether, at any given time, Edward was King, or was in exile, or in prison, or what.

It did make me look up some of the history and do a bit of wikipedia reading, but I can't say the book made a great impression on me.
