The tagline for the book is "Rachel and Ben. Ben and Rachel. It was them against the world. Until it all fell apart. It’s been a decade since they last spoke, but when Rachel bumps into Ben one rainy day, the years melt away." From this, and a skim of a couple of reviews, I thought it might be a bit like One Day. I did notice though, that none of the reviews actually mentioned that book. Which should have warned me. It was nothing like it.

This was pretty standard chick-lit, and not fantastically good (well, I suppose I've read worse, so perhaps it would count as being relatively good in that genre). But I think it must have benefited from a lot of hype: there are over 1000 reviews on Amazon.

It's an easy enough read, but nothing special.
