This is the - gosh - sixth(!) Virgil Flowers book. In this one a couple of kids go on a Bonnie-and-Clyde style rampage after committing robbery and murder in their home town.

I left it two months before writing this and so can't remember much about the book apart from the fact that I liked it. One quote I noted - when someone is walking through the street in the night-time, they're described as

throwing splashy shadows in the pale April moonlight

Reliably good.
